Danielle is Oak City Law’s director of client services. As a graduate of the Meredith College paralegal program, Danielle brings much knowledge and enthusiasm to her work for clients. Danielle is responsible for facilitating communication with the firm’s clients, managing daily work flow, and assisting in all facets of our representation of clients. Her undergraduate studies resulted in a B.A. in Political Science from N.C. State University. Danielle is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal.

- Paralegal in an active civil litigation practice, which also performs a variety of business law transactions
- Maintain firm docket, develop client correspondence, file documents with the courts, among additional tasks in furtherance of providing excellent client services
- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, estate planning documents, contracts, etc.
- Attend client intake meetings, depositions, hearings and conferences
- Attained N.C. Notary Public certification in March of 2013
- Advancement from intern to full-time lead paralegal upon graduation from NCSU in May 2013
- Develop filing system for open and closed client files
- Improve firm case management, billing and invoicing system with Bill4Time software
Volunteer Outreach and Recruitment Intern
Mitt Romney Victory Campaign – Raleigh, NC

- Acquired leadership experience in grassroots campaigning, communicating with campaign volunteers, and collaborating with upper level management team and coworkers
- Recruited, trained and monitored groups of 30 or more campaign volunteers
- Prepared spreadsheet documents daily containing volunteer information and summarizing the volume of work accomplished
- Participated in campaign publicity, through a television interview with a national news station, and being photographed and interviewed for the local news paper
